History and Legacy

Hotel San Vicente Galápagos was founded over 20 years ago by Antonio Gil Jaramillo, a descendant of one of the first families to settle on Isabela Island from Guayaquil. His vision to provide accommodation, meals, and tours for visitors has grown into the island’s most prominent hotel. Our services have since expanded to include multi-island tours across Isabela, San Cristóbal, Floreana, and Santa Cruz, allowing guests to experience the best of the Galápagos.

The hotel is equipped with a range of vehicles and equipment, including:

• Boat: Our “l/P Oceano l-p” yacht, accommodating up to 14 passengers.
• Van: Comfortable transportation for up to 16 passengers.
• Chiva: A traditional bus for 10 passengers.
• Horses: 32 horses available for excursions to Sierra Negra Volcano.
