On the way you’ll stop by the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center of Isabela. Here you’ll be able to see a variety of species of giant tortoises in captivity. Its importance remains on its success on breeding and raising giant tortoises. Their activity preserve many of the endangered subspecies.

Finally, before catching the flight back to either Quito or Guayaquil, the Twin Craters will be the last stop. In fact, these are not craters but impressive holes formed by lava domes which hardened in the outside. Nevertheless continued to flow on the inside, leaving a huge but empty chambers that collapsed. Isn’t that incredible? Definitely, the forest you’ll have to go through to reach this spot will surprise you with flora and fauna.
